Wait…Did Someone Hit Bush Over The Head With A Conscience? (VIDEO)

There have been surprises on both sides of the political fence as the Trump regime gets into full swing. On one side we have some hard core democrat personalities cozying up to the thought of Trump as president, while on the reverse we have, now the second worst president in history, George W. Bush, speaking as though there may be a soul somewhere in there.

During an interview with Matt Lauer of the Today Show, Bush expressed some ideas that were progressive and forward thinking regarding free press, freedom of religion, and Trump’s Russian ties. Maybe they reset Bush’s switch and reprogrammed him…. Talking about the media Bush stated:

I consider the media to be indispensable to democracy. We need an independent media to hold people like me to account. Power can be very addictive, and it can be corrosive.

He went on to talk about the importance of pushing other nations including Russian President Vladimir Putin to open up to the concept of free media. Bush stated:

It’s kind of hard to tell others to have an independent free press if we’re not willing to have one ourselves.

Then the conversation moved into the realm of Trump’s Muslim/travel ban and Bush surprised with a couple different sentiments including calling the right to worship freely the “bedrock of our freedom.” He went on to state:

I understood right off the bat … that [the executive order] was an ideological conflict. I am for an immigration policy that is welcoming and upholds the law.

Lastly, in discussion about Trump’s regime and their ties to Russian government Bush stated:

I think we all need answers. I have great faith in Richard Burr, for example. He’s the head of the Senate Intelligence Committee ― really good guy and an independent thinker. If he were to recommend a special prosecutor, then it would have a lot more credibility with me.

Well, I think that’s it. The world is finally begining to face the end of days. We have a racist, anti-Semitic in office and the doofus former President Bush has opened up slightly to more progressive views. But what’s the catch?
