Even though American Horror Story producer, Ryan Murphy kept season six extremely secretive, only letting little clues slip through until the premier in 2016, he has come all out about season seven.
You would think after years of terrifying encounters from ghosts, to circus freaks, to clowns the AHS series would be running out scary topics to cover but you would be wrong.
Ryan has come out to the public and stated that season seven, filming in June, will be about politics, specifically pulling horrendous storylines from the 2016 election season. Murphy stated:
Well, I don’t have a title, but the season we begin shooting in June is going to be about the election that we just went through. So I think that will be interesting for a lot of people.
Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters will be returning for season seven and when asked about a possible Trump-like character Murphy played it coy and just shrugged his shoulders stating:
I would have to say, with the horror that this country has gone through with the obviously rigged win by the Orange monster, and Hitler-esque moves he has made since taking office, I don’t know if I could watch AHS without having a complete meltdown.
God, Trump is scary enough in real life. I can’t imagine what he will be like with the help of Ryan Murphy!
