Here are ten pizza joints that are DDD approved. (If you’re a true Food Network junky, you just said ‘Tripe D’ in your head.) So gas up your car and hit the road for some pizza like you’ve never had it.

The Golden Bear restaurant in Sacramento, California is known for their ‘Slaw Pizza. Savory sausage and cole slaw on crisp dough sounds like a combo made in heaven.

Joe Squared Pizza
Joe Squared is one funky place to eat in Baltimore, Maryland. To sum it up, it’s art meets food meets music under one roof. If you’re daring, be sure to try their Clam and Bacon pizza.

Grinders
Grinders in Kansas City, Missouri is a like an art museum with off the wall food. Their Bengal Tiger pizza includes hearts of palm and tandoori chicken. That alone should make you want to visit.
Maxwell’s
Maxwell’s East Coast Eatery in Salt Lake City, Utah is a place for the whole family. Their pizza names are pretty interesting, too. Try their Eddie Would Go special that has Italian sausage, pineapple, and ricotta.

Pinky G’s
Pinky G’s in Jackson Hole, Wyoming is home to something called the Funky Chicken. That’s a pizza, not a dance. Chicken, artichokes, red onions, and ricotta on their homemade basil pesto is sure to dance along your taste buds, though.

Broders’ Cucina Italiana
Broders’ Cucina Italiana in Minneapolis, Minnesota is an experience not to be missed. Especially if you’re a fan of pizza. Try their Roasted Eggplant with goat cheese, caramelized onion, and sweet red pepper.

Comet Ping Pong
Everyone should visit our nation’s capital, especially since you can also visit Comet Ping Pong. This restaurant in Washington, D.C. is known for their ping pong tables and pizzas. Try the Stanley, which consists of sausage, mozzarella, and homemade tomato sauce.

Joe’s Farm Grill
Joe’s Farm Grill in Gilbert, Arizona grows a large amount of their own food. That includes some of the ingredients for their BBQ Chicken pizza. Their version is grilled and contains smoked chicken, bacon, blue cheese, tomato, onion, and their own BBQ sauce.
Pizzeria Luigi
Pizzeria Luigi has three restaurants in California. Their Mona Lisa consists of whole milk mozzarella, sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, red onions, green pepper, and olives. A feast for the eyes as well as the mouth.
Hops & Pie
Hops & Pie caters to the Denver, Colorado crowd with beer and killer pizza, especially their Beer Braised Brisket version. So you can drink and eat your beer at the same time.
