A few weeks ago, in an interview with People magazine, President Obama revealed one of his odd fears, the snowmen on the White House lawn. This fear sparked a fire in the White House staff like when siblings pull practical jokes.
During the interview the president and his wife joked about the creepy snowmen appearing in their bedroom. Obama stated:
“There’s a whole kind of Chucky element to them. They are a little creepy.”
The staff quickly realized there was a happy family of terrifying snowmen grouped together near the Rose Garden. Pete Souza, White House photographer, detailed the situation on his Instagram saying:
“Then we realized the snowmen were too heavy to easily lift. But finally this morning before the President came to the office, some helpful staff ― I won’t say who ― moved all the snowmen so each one was peeking through a different window into the Oval. This photo was taken this afternoon as the President signed end-of-the-year bills.”
I wish I had a staff that would pull pranks on me while I worked…
