Japanese Office Workers Dress In Full-Body Suits To Escape The Pressure Of Modern Life

OK we’re not sure how this works, but apparently some Japanese folks are so desperate to escape the stress of their jobs that they’re dressing up in full-body suits like this one:

This craze has a name: Zentai. The people who practice it say that it is a wonderful escape for people in a society that demands conformity.

There are about 3,000 Zentai right now. One of them said this:

“My family is conservative. They like me to be quiet and feminine but in secret I wear all over tights and let loose,” she said.

This is a little weird, but hey, whatever works. We think it’s cool and the suits are beautiful and this is a big win.
