Vanity Fair editor and journalist Kurt Eichenwald tweeted a photo of some anti-Semitic hate mail he received. He was entangled in a Twitter argument with Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson at the time.

In the background on the computer was a shot of a browser tab for a site called “B-Chiku,” which is an example of Japanese anime porn, or hentai.
This is his defense tweet:
…some to show her it was real. But I couldn't find any – & ended up w/ this. My family reads my twitter feed, so they know this is true.

He also added:
“While hentai (until now, I thought it was called manga) was on screen as part of search to prove 2 my wife tentacle porn exists, what diff (sic) would it make? Seriously, while I don’t see the appeal of cartoon parn, porn is a multi-billion industry. Pple (sic) obviously look at it.”
“I’ve got nothing left to say about this. Believe what I say or don’t. Think my family has odd conversations (we do) or don’t. So it goes.”
Here are some of the Twitter reactions to this gaffe:
Kurt Eichenwald jerking off to hentai is the greatest thing today.

I love Twitter. Where else can I see a Vanity Fair writer/MSNBC contributor accidentally take a picture of the hentai tab on their computer? pic.twitter.com/mAdJEv4lR6
