As hard working Mexican families who have lived and worked in the States for decades, are torn apart and needlessly deported, the family of President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner is selling an easy route to citizenship to wealthy Chinese business people.
If you can invest $500,000 in a Kushner construction project, they will do all the legwork to ensure you receive a controversial EB-5 immigrant visa. The EB-5 program enables foreign business people who invest in US projects that create jobs, to apply to immigrate to the United States and has been used in the past by both Trump and Kushner families to secure funding for their projects.
The Kushner’s pimped tickets to a new life in America to the potential investors at an event they held specifically for this purpose at the Ritz-Carlton in Beijing. In the hotel ballroom, there were no direct references to Trump or his family, but there were plenty of references to the Kushner Family “celebrity status” and Wang Yun, one of the Chinese investor attending the event, said the Kushner family’s ties to Trump were a part of the project’s appeal.
“Even though this is the project of the son-in-law’s family, of course, it is still affiliated,” Wang.
A woman at the presentation who was identified as “Jared’s Sister” is thought to have been Nicole Kushner who is part of the family business, but it is impossible to say for sure because the press were at first herded to the back of the vast room and then evicted from the ballroom entirely.
When the potential investors left, they were surrounded by even staff to prevent them giving interviews.
So there we have it. If you are poor and Mexican and have worked in the States, raised a family and contributed to the country, you are not wanted. However, if you are a super wealthy Chinese businessman who has untold millions from questionable sources, come on in and join the boys club.
