If you haven’t heard by now that NASA has discovered seven new planets in a tight orbit in the Trappist-1 system about 39-light-years away than either you don’t have the internet, in which case this sentence is pointless, or you are not a big fan of anything other than YouTube.
Either way, this discovery can be one step closer to finding life outside of Earth, in our known universe.
People have been super excited by the news and even more so since they said that at least three of the planets show signs of being capable of holding water on their surfaces. Ultimately this means they have the possible scientific combination to sustain life.
Some people think of this finding as a possible new planet for humans to inhabit since we seem so good at destroying the one we are on, but others look at for the alien aspect of it all. Of course, as soon as the news spread, people to took to Twitter to voice their hilarious responses to the news.
Here are some of our favorites:
Can I volunteer to go live on the new planets NASA have found because I’ve had enough of this one

And definitely one of our favorites since this guy thinks about the important things:
What if we travel to one of these new planets NASA found and they haven’t figured out bread yet? Like, all their restaurants have wraps?

Who knows if we will ever find life on another planet but the idea of it is pretty cool to think about.
