Fifty Shades Of Grey Leads To Sexually Based Incidents All Over London

British author E. L. James has caused a massive firestorm with the release of Fifty Shades book series, which earned over $100 million in sales. The 2015 film adaptation Fifty Shades of Grey grossed $571 million worldwide and spawned the Oscar nominated song “Earned It” from The Weeknd.

With the release of the film, BDSM has seen a massive rise, and there’s a positive and negative for this sudden growth. For couples, they see it as a way to freshen up their bedroom activities. People that are into BDSM see the film and the book series as a complete farce and states the material mistakes these various erotic practices as abuse in a relationship.

In London, plenty of firefighters have had the displeasure of helping people from various sexual situations since the release of the first novel back in 2011. 102 men and women had to be freed from the bed after being stuck by way of chains or handcuffs. 23 curious gentlemen had rings stuck to their private parts, which led to the use of bolt cutters. Nine of these ring situations happened last April.

When it comes to the rings, Director of Operations Dave Brown states:

If the ring doesn’t fit, don’t force it on. As well as being painful, you could end up wasting emergency service time if you have to call us out.

Improper use of sex rings can lead to priapism, which is a prolonged erection. Men might think that sounds like fun, but it will turn into erectile dysfunction or penile gangrene if it’s not treated.

The second film in the trilogy Fifty Shades Darker, which stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, was released last Friday and grossed over $148 million worldwide so far. Much like the first film, it gained mostly negative reviews from critics.

The third and final installment Fifty Shades Freed will be released on February 9, 2018.
