This Tostitos Bag Can Detect Alcohol On Your Breath (VIDEO)

The Super Bowl with the New England Patriots vs. the Atlanta Falcons will happen on Sunday, February 5, 2017. Most sports fans are gearing up to either attend the official Super Bowl or have parties of their own. For those planning on having Tostitos as one of their snacks, be prepared because these bags can detect alcohol.

Created by Goodby Silverstein & Partners, the “Party Safe” is a limited-edition Tostitos bag that has the ability to detect certain amounts of alcohol on your breath.

How can a bag detect alcohol?

The Tostitos bag has a sensor that is connected to a microcontroller. Once an individual’s breath is determined to have traces of alcohol, the front of the bag turns red and shows the photo of a steering wheel with a message that reads, “Don’t Drink and Drive.”

It doesn’t stop there. An Uber code is shown on the bag which gives an individual the opportunity to touch the bag with their phone for a discounted Uber ride throughout the Super Bowl.

Roger Baran, the creative director at Goodby Silverstein & Partners said:

We’re proud to introduce to the world the first bag of chips that gets you home safe. For a football fan, there is a lot of emotion involved with a game. It’s easy to drink more than you planned.

Jennifer Saenz, who is the chief marketing officer of Frito-Lay said:

Whether watching the big game at a friend’s house or at a local bar, a safe ride home is just a few easy taps away.

In the last six weeks, the Atlanta Falcons have been breezing past the other teams by scoring a minimum of 33 points per game. This Super Bowl will be the Falcons first appearance since 1999 when they lost to the Denver Broncos. On the other hand, this will be the ninth appearance for the Patriots.
