A Texas mall is now in the spotlight as one of their customers took upon himself to ruin Christmas for the children lining up to meet Santa.
This real life Grinch filmed himself in an effort to make the kids realize that Christmas is about Jesus Christ and to tell the parents to stop lying to their kids about Santa.
Evangelical pastor David Grinch, oh rather Grisham, walked towards the families falling in line and said,
“Kids, I want to tell you today that there is no such thing as Santa Claus,”
He went on talking while filming. You can see some people turning their backs on the camera, he went on and said,
“The man you’re going to see today is just a man in a suit, dressed up like Santa, but Santa does not exist,”
As if that was not enough, he went on and told the parents that,
“Santa’s not real. And parents you all need to stop lying to your children and telling them that Santa Claus is real when in fact he’s not.”
You can start hearing protests from parents when he mentioned that the parents should tell their children that there is no Santa, there are no flying reindeer, there is no workshop in the North Pole, there are no elves making gifts and that they just buy the gifts and put it under the Christmas tree. What a way to ruin the children’s Christmases, right?
He spared rage from parents and one parent told him,
“I’ve got my kids over there, we don’t need you coming over here blabbing whatever it is you’re blabbing,”
The mall’s Facebook page was bombarded with angry comments regarding Grisham’s behavior.
The mall released a state that was reported by Huffington Post acknowledging the behavior.
“We want everyone at our shopping center to have an enjoyable experience. All of the shoppers are expected to follow our code of conduct and will be asked to leave our premises if they don’t follow these rules.”
